Red Bottom Booties holds a special place in my collection as the very first shoe design I ever created. What began as a single fashion-inspired tote quickly became a customer favorite, and after painting it so many times over the years, I sometimes joke that I could create it with my eyes closed. Inspired by my love of stylish footwear and bold fashion details, this design features glittering gold heels and a coordinating animal-print ribbon accented with shimmering gold. The ribbon adds texture, movement, and personality, creating a look that feels both glamorous and fun. Like many of my favorite designs, Red Bottom Booties is a shoe I would happily wear myself. Its combination of sparkle, animal print, and fashion-forward style has made it one of my most enduring and popular creations. Each tote is individually hand-painted, making every piece a unique work of wearable art.

Each tote is a labor-intensive, mixed media masterpiece created in Dana's Las Vegas studio.

I spend 4 to 6 hours meticulously hand-painting and hand placing embellishments - including curated beads, charms, ribbons and metallic elements - making every piece entirely unique.

A professional gloss resin finish is applied to seal the artwork, which then cures for 24 hours to ensure high-gloss durability.

Because each tote is painted and embellished by hand, slight variations are part of the beauty and individuality of every piece.

Built for everyday life. The hand-painted artwork and mixed-media embellishments are permanently locked beneath a crystal-clear, water-resistant resin seal. This protective layer protects against cracking, peeling and scratching. To maintain its pristine boutique look, simply wipe the resin and canvas down with a soft damp cloth.
