I have always been drawn to art that feels alive—work
with color, texture, dimension, and details that make you want to look a little
closer.

My process usually begins with paint, but rarely ends
there. I use glass, jewelry, beads, found objects, and other dimensional
elements to build beyond the painted surface. I love the moment when an object
stops being simply an embellishment and becomes an essential part of the
artwork—when a piece of jewelry becomes something a painted woman is actually
wearing, or a dimensional flower seems to grow beyond the canvas.

I am especially drawn to fashion, florals, expressive
figures, and subjects that allow me to play with personality. I don’t approach
my work with a strict set of rules. Much of my process is intuitive: I
experiment, layer, change direction, and continue adding or subtracting until a
piece feels complete.

That freedom is an important part of my work. I want each
piece to feel individual rather than perfect, and sophisticated without
becoming too serious. There is usually an element of surprise—something
unexpected in the materials, the texture, or the way a familiar subject has
been interpreted.

Ultimately, I create art that I would want to stop and
look at: colorful, dimensional, expressive, and a little uncommon.
