🖌️ Behind the Scenes: Holiday Season in the Studio
The Studio in Full Swing
If you’ve seen our Nutcracker Tote Bag (pictured above), you already know how much I love bringing a little holiday magic to life with paint and shimmer. That spirit has completely taken over the studio lately! Orders are rolling in — including another shipment to Royal Caribbean featuring two of my newest designs, Kicking Up Her Heels and the Pink Stiletto Tote.
Each piece is hand-painted, sealed with resin, and finished with embellishments that make every bag one-of-a-kind. Mornings are for painting; evenings are for packing boxes bound for boutiques, cruise ships, and gift-givers across the country.
Winter forest night-lights drying on the resin table — every sparkle catches the studio light just right.
💡 Not Just Totes
When tote-bag orders slow down for a day or two, I switch gears. This week it was night-lights — a few favorites that sold out sooner than expected! They’re currently on the resin table drying, catching the light just so. These smaller projects are a nice creative reset and remind me how much joy the little things can bring.
🎁 The Holiday Hustle
Running a handmade business during the holidays means constant motion: painting, resin-pouring, photographing, writing, wrapping, shipping, and somehow squeezing in a cup of cocoa now and then. Even when I don’t feel like I’m getting much done, I look around and realize — the work is happening everywhere. Each order, email, and brushstroke builds toward something special.
💖 A Heart-Filled Thank You
To everyone supporting small makers this season — whether you’re buying, sharing, or simply cheering us on — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every order is a reminder that handcrafted art still matters, and it means the world that you’re part of this journey.
Hand-Painted. Heart-Filled. Always Uncommon.
